“It all started with my deep connection with porcelain. This pure earthly material has led me on a path of becoming a creator, healer and teacher. It was from my heart that Pure Ritual was born. A call that continues to allow me to share my spiritual practices through my creations and services. I trust that Spirit has guided you here to discover tools to deepen your connection with your Higher Self.”

About Me
My name is Nina Kawar, and I am the designer and creator of Pure Ritual. As an artist, I have always strived to speak to the heart and soul of those who engage in my work. I have a deep love for porcelain clay, metal, wood, and gemstones. My creative work ranges from small & large-scale sculptures, home décor, jewelry, metaphysical objects, and installation works.
I have a deep passion for sculpting, biology, psychology, metaphysics, and teaching. My fine art creative practice explores and aims to push the boundaries of porcelain through the process of carving and creating delicate forms. The elusive and often fragile sculptures derive from an intrigue with the human condition and healing.

Pure Ritual’s Story
Pure Ritual is a collection of porcelain metaphysical tools, sculptures, and jewelry for healers and seekers devoted to self-awareness. My heart's desire is to share my love for metaphysics and create tools for adornment, ritual, and ceremonial purposes. Pure Ritual was created in June of 2018. It was in 2023 that I further fell down the rabbit hole of creating and taught myself how to copper electroform. It is Art & Science! This unique process involves skillfully depositing copper layer by layer onto the gemstones in an acid bath with electricity. These one-of-a-kind copper and gemstone jewelry pieces are designed to help one on their healing journey. They individually have their own voice and healing purposes that are found in a sophisticated copper design that amplifies the energies of the stones, while providing healing properties for those they call.
Path as a Teacher
In graduate school, I taught multiple ceramic classes to undergraduate students at Clemson University and children at the local Arts Center. After receiving my MFA, I chose a career path as a studio artist. It gave me a chance to build self-confidence in my creative practice and work through my blocks before stepping into the role of a teacher.
In 2021, I returned to teaching ceramics in my studio one-on-one. I am now teaching and mentoring a wide range of students of all ages within clay and creativity.
The Call to Be a Healer
As a creator, one of my favorite places to be is in the creative flow. Dropping into a meditative state while working with clay and my jewelry often comes with ease, and has been one of my greatest teachers. I am honored and grateful for the opportunity to be the conduit for healing, create beautiful talismans, and share them with you on this journey home.
Blessings,
Nina Kawar
